Founded in June 2013 by Jonathan Wright, Redbeard Brewing Co. is a nano-brewery located in Staunton’s historic Wharf District. The brewery operates a 3-barrel system with a total fermentation capacity of approximately 20 barrels. The taproom features 10–15 house-brewed beers on tap, including styles like English ales, Belgian saisons, and American IPAs. Patrons can purchase beer to go in crowler cans, 4-packs of 16 oz cans, and occasional bottle releases. Merchandise, including t-shirts and other apparel, is available for purchase in the taproom and online. The brewery hosts weekly events such as trivia, karaoke, and music bingo, as well as a summer concert series in the beer garden. Redbeard Brewing is family-friendly, with vintage Nintendo games available, and leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome in the outdoor beer garden.
