Twenty taps featuring Assclown brews with an 8-seat bar, several tables as well as a couple of couches. Two refrigerated shelves of beer are available to go at this centrally located Charlotte brewery.

They have a cool bar design with cassette tapes encased in enamel. They offer liquor, wine and and a cooler containing chilled non-alcoholic beverages. Snacks are for sale and there are many card and board games.
New to the Charlotte brewery scene, I was there for a soft opening late December 2023; the official planned for early 2024. This is the sister company of Ass Clown Brewing Company (same owner) who pursued the alternative name due to complications around licenses where in Charlotte, they have a liquor license, but don’t in Cornelius. Essentially, liquor “alongside” Assclown beer. Initially there are no beers branded “Alongside Brewing”, but staff advise they intend to once the necessary licenses are in place. They have leased the space next-door, which they intend to set up as a kind of speakeasy as early as February 2024. They will have food trucks and will be hosting regular live music.
