Highland Brewing Company

Asheville is known as Beer City and this is the Asheville brewery that started it all. Highland is the “Old G” in town and this location offers 24 taps. in the large indoor space, 5 of which were barrel aged specialties. Flights of 6-four ounce pours are available. Ample indoor seating with a large stage for live music. Mostly high-top seating indoors but the main outdoor deck has picnic tables. Food trucks are on site.  A huge event center and rooftop area is available for rent. The merchandise is diverse but standard for most breweries (shirts, hats, jackets, koozies, glassware etc.). A crowler filling station is available but no growlers are filled. A huge outdoor area called “the Meadow” is in the back offering a stage for live music, an outdoor bar, hammocks, and a place to let the kids free range.
