Catawba Brewing has permanently closed its taproom in Charlotte’s Belmont neighborhood after six years of operation. However, the brand is actively looking for a new location in the South End near the Rail Trail. The closure of the Belmont location was primarily due to its underperformance, and the aim is to find a spot with more foot traffic for a more engaging customer experience. Unfortunately, the staff was informed of the closure without severance, and there was no immediate discussion about plans to reopen
This Charlotte location for Catawba features 32 main taps and double that when their second bar is open. In addition to their regular brews, there are up to five rotating small-batch brews.
