The idea for Town Brewing Company began in 2010 when four home brewers, during a brew day in a garage, decided to start their own brewery. This dream turned into reality in 2017 when they opened Town Brewing in an old automotive garage in Wesley Heights. Since then, the brewery has become part of Charlotte’s craft beer explosion, gaining popularity in the local community and beyond.
The brewery emphasizes using fresh, local ingredients in their food, ensuring healthier and tastier options for visitors. Their menu includes classic items along with vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, reflecting their commitment to accommodating a wide range of dietary preferences.
Town Brewing hosts various events in its taproom, including workout classes, run clubs, trivia nights, weekend brunches, and special series like the January Fitness Series. These events showcase the brewery’s dedication to community engagement and creating a lively and inclusive atmosphere for guests.
The brewery has expanded its distribution to cover statewide in North Carolina and some parts of South Carolina.
