Twenty-Six Acres Brewing announced its closure, with its last day being August 18th, 2024.

Twenty-Six Acres Brewing is located in a Concord, NC, business park not far off the beltway, featuring a huge tasting room with 22 taps.

The bar is standing-only, making it easy to order as people don’t tend to stay at the bar; there are several tables inside and out, as well as couches and chairs. A large selection of board games can entertain. A very dog-friendly place, several can be found inside with a designated “chill zone” for those seeking refuge from children and dogs.

Lots of merchandise is available, and you can view breeding operations from the glass walls lining the back of the establishment. Flights are available, as well as $2 tasters, 10 and 16-oz pours, pitchers, and both 32 and 64-oz growlers.

Several television screens accommodate almost any seat in the house. I was there during a football game and the audio of the game could be heard faintly; no music.
