Free Range Brewing

Free Range Brewing, with its 24 on-site brewed taps, offers a spacious setting including a large 20-seat bar and abundant tables. It features guest taps, crowlers, and merchandise like shirts and hats. The brewery is equipped with games, dog-friendly areas, live music stages, and outdoor picnic tables.

Salud Bottle Shop

Salud Bottle Shop is a great bottle shop with an even better rotating tap list of 12 craft brews from around the world located in Charlotte’s NoDa community.

Phar Mill BBQ & Brewing

Phar Mill BBQ & Brewing offers a spacious setting with both indoor and outdoor seating, featuring twelve taps including seltzer options. The brewery provides entertainment with three televisions, board games, and a shuffleboard table. It also hosts weekly events like music bingo, and offers a glimpse into brewing operations through a windowed view. The venue includes a 12-seat bar, ten tables inside, and additional outdoor seating, along with merchandise like cans, shirts, and hats.

Llama Dog Taproom and Botttle Shop

20 taps on a digital display, a large bar and outdoor seating. As is common in the area, it’s multiple businesses in one space; a restaurant, a taproom and a bottle shop. Next door (connected) is a brewery (Topa Topa), and a wine bar. The whole area is named “Waterline”.

Taco Mac (University)

100 taps including dozens of local brews. A chain of restaurants established back in 1979, you’ll find two in the Charlotte area alone. A 25-seat wrap around bar and more tables and booths than I care to count amidst at least 40 televisions featuring sports programming.

The Woodworkers / Laverty’s

50 taps spread across over half a dozen different bars in the establishment. Half is branded as Laverty’s and the Woodworkers area is a newer addition focused on craft beers specifically.
