Two sets of 20 taps and a twelve seat bar, this BrewDog is located across the street from Russel Central Station and a short walk from delirium and local craft beer stores.
Saint Archer
This 7000 square foot brewing facility includes a good sized tasting room with 30 taps of their own creation. They also sell bottles and cans to go as well as a large selection of merchandise in their dedicated shop.
Stone Brewing Taproom
16 taps are available at this location which offers plenty of seating including a large 10 seat bar and a few large tables.
Haymarket Pub & Brewery
32 taps feature not just their own, but other craft beers. About 20 seats at the bar and 4 highto tables open up to an even larger dining area as well as views of their brewing facility.
Seven Arrows Brewing Company
A compact 8-seat bar serves 13 house-brewed beers, with preset flights priced at $10 and $12. The taproom includes indoor seating, TVs, and a pet-friendly outdoor patio.
The Green Room
An 8-seat bar anchors the space, complemented by four tables and a cozy lounge area with couches and chairs. The venue features six rotating taps and an extensive bottle and can selection.
Mile High Tavern
On the way to Beech Mountain, you’ll find this tavern boasting the most taps in the high country, but disappointingly had less than 10 available as of Febrary 2024.
Koelschip
Another impressive Mikkeller bar, this place is nothing short of amazing; it may be the most beer snob catered establishment I’ve encountered in my 300+ visits around the world.
Oak Trail Spirits
A small, yet dense beer selection that included a strong selection of two of my favorites, Jester King and To Ol. Featuring 16 refrigerated cabinets and 17 dry shelves (many quite large).
Peabody’s Wine & Beer Merchants
This very cool bottle shop has quite a selection and 8 taps (including 2 ciders) you can drink outside where there is regularly a food truck to complete the experience.

This great bottle shop features mostly North Carolina breweries, 10 taps and a large seating area. Having been to over a hundred similar shops, I really feel like this is among the very best.

Located just around the corner from the Delirium Cafe, this well stocked bottle shop focuses mostly on Belgium beers.
Southern Range Brewing
Southern Range Brewing features 16 brews on tap, a 10-seat bar, and ample seating both indoors and outdoors. Equipped with three televisions, the brewery offers a variety of logo merchandise, including shirts and hats in multiple colors. Additionally, they provide flights of four beers and sell cans and 64-ounce growlers for takeaway
De Bierverteller
An impressive bottle shop in Utrecht offers three taps for a bottle fill (2.50 for the bottle which is returnable). Not for consumption on site.
Craft Beer Cellar (Hickory, NC)
Huge local and international bottle and can selection. In the back is a small, 6 seat bar with 16 taps plus a communal table, couches.
Lonerider (Durham)
An 8-seat bar and several indoor tables serve 20 taps alongside a cocktail and bourbon menu. The venue offers a small selection of canned beers to go, cigars, and multiple TVs, with music bingo events hosted regularly.
Three Notch’d (Harrisonburg)
This location offers 14 taps and features chalkboard-decorated walls. Flights, canned beer to go, and merchandise are available.
Barrel Culture
A cool place offering 18 taps and a selection of bottles and cans, all brewed on site with lots of seating inside and out.
