Percent Tap House

32 taps of beer, both their own craft brews and lots of guest taps featuring other local breweries as well. Inside there are 10 tables of various sizes and a standing bar. Extensive outdoor seating available including some gas fire tables.

Craft Tasting Room and Growler Shop

36 beers on tap to consume on site or to go in 32oz or 64oz growlers. A large selection of bottles are available and there is also a food menu and snacks.

Two Brothers Tap House & Brewery

Two sets of 16 taps featuring their own brews, a full menu and a huge merch section with odd items such as soap and beard oil. A large facility with lots of seating options.

Pop The Top Craft Beer Shop (Closed)

Pop the Top features 24 taps of mostly local area craft beers. Inside there is a 6 seat bar a couple tables, a couch and chairs, outside there are 6 tables.

Summit Beer Shop

This bottle shop, is more bar than shop with twenty-two brews on tap focused on North Carolina breweries. Mostly a refrigerated selection consisting mostly of packs versus singles.

Jekyll & Hyde (Belmont)

Jekyll & Hyde of Belmont features a variety of craft beers from 48 taps including several brewed on-site. The venue includes a restaurant with a comprehensive menu with indoor and outdoor seating.

Taco Mac (University)

100 taps including dozens of local brews. A chain of restaurants established back in 1979, you’ll find two in the Charlotte area alone. A 25-seat wrap around bar and more tables and booths than I care to count amidst at least 40 televisions featuring sports programming.

Bulldog Beer & Wine (Southend)

Bulldog Beer & Wine is a half bar, half store set up with a nice selection on both sides. 24 taps and cabinets of refrigerated and room temperature bottles and cans to go.

Rhino Market and Deli (Uptown)

This is one of a few locations for this popular Charlotte based sandwich and beer shop featuring an impressive selection to go as well as a tap list for consumption on site.

BrewDog (Tower Hill)

This BrewDog location features over 30 taps, made up of 20 of their own plus several guest taps. They also have a large menu of bottles and cans the may be consumed on site or purchased to go.

Casual Pint (Rivergate)

In the Rivergate plaza south of Charlotte, this bar/bottle shop features 35 taps, merchandise, growlers and more opened in 2017.

Jekyll and Hyde (Matthews)

Jekyll & Hyde Taphouse and Grill of Matthews is a gastropub with over 50 taps featuring a steampunk theme. It is a full restaurant serving traditional English, Irish, and American dishes.

District 8 Beer Company (Closed)

District 8 Beer Company, established in September 2019, is a multifaceted venue with a bottle shop offering 19 craft beers on tap. It features six refrigerated cabinets and at least four dry shelf units, providing a wide range of beer sold in packs and as singles. In January 2021, the venue expanded to include a larger seating area and bar, now boasting 19 taps and three televisions. The brewery focuses on hazy IPAs and sours, and features a bar, tables, couches, and a jukebox.

Carolina Beer Temple (Charlotte) (Closed)

30 taps are featured at this bottle shop. Several tables and a 16 seat wrap around bar offer plenty of space to enjoy their selection featuring mostly north and South Carolina breweries as well as Belgium breweries.

The Woodworkers / Laverty’s

50 taps spread across over half a dozen different bars in the establishment. Half is branded as Laverty’s and the Woodworkers area is a newer addition focused on craft beers specifically.

Salud Bottle Shop

Salud Bottle Shop is a great bottle shop with an even better rotating tap list of 12 craft brews from around the world located in Charlotte’s NoDa community.

Pintville (Closed)

26 taps of largely craft (some import) beers. There is plenty of seating with a 12 seat bar and several tables and stools. There is a back room with even more seating as well as games and a television.

Llama Dog Taproom and Botttle Shop

20 taps on a digital display, a large bar and outdoor seating. As is common in the area, it’s multiple businesses in one space; a restaurant, a taproom and a bottle shop. Next door (connected) is a brewery (Topa Topa), and a wine bar. The whole area is named “Waterline”.

Oskar Blues (Brevard)

Along side 12 taps upstairs, you’ll find a bar, tables, a huge merch selection a stage and a nice view of brewing operations. Downstairs at “The Tasty Weasel” (an Untapped verified venue) there are 10 more taps.

Kits Trackside Crafts

Six refrigerated and about eight dry shelves organized by brewery. 20 taps featuring primarily NC craft brews. 2 wine taps and a cask also available.

Legal Remedy Brewing Co.

Legal Remedy Brewing Co. features 24 taps, a 16-seat bar with TVs, and indoor/outdoor seating. They offer a flight of four 5oz pours, canned 6-packs, growlers, and a restaurant highlighting local farms. The legal theme pervades the decor and menu.

Taco Mac (South Park) (Closed)

This was a stand out location for this well known area restaurant chain featuring 140 taps of craft. There was a long bar with over 18 seats, lots of high top tables and booths throughout and was loaded with televisions making it a popular game day destination.

Seoul Food Meat Co.

16 Taps outside and a bottle list inside (as well as a large wine selection), this restaurant is a popular spot with lots of seating, private rooms, and several outdoor games including an area for dogs to play.

The Draft House / The Queen Charlotte

14 taps and 3 casks of taps as well as a large bottle and can selection. Only a couple seats at the bar but several tables and outdoor seating available. Untappd says The Draft House Westbridge. Outside it does say draft house, but more predominantly, Rub A Dub. And Home of the Third. Must be an inside joke.

Peabody’s Wine & Beer Merchants

This very cool bottle shop has quite a selection and 8 taps (including 2 ciders) you can drink outside where there is regularly a food truck to complete the experience.

The Craft Stand

There are 30 taps on their Untappd menu in this shop/bar which also features 4 large dry shelves and 5 refrigerated stacked with craft brews; about half of them local. There is a 14 seat bar and several tables providing plenty of seating.

Olde Hickory Station

Converted from an old train station, this restaurant, bar, bottle shop features an impressive 48 tap draft selection. Just a cross the street from Olde Hickory Tap Room, they actually feature three times as many Olde Hickory brews.
